Refund policy

Returns
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible, the book must be returned in the same condition you received it.
Approved returns are issued as store credit for 50% of the item's purchase price. We do not offer cash or card refunds, and original shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
To start a return, email us at thestacksbookshop@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for return. We'll confirm eligibility and provide the return address. Once we receive and inspect the book, your store credit will be issued within 3–5 business days and can be used on any future purchase.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your book arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong item, that's on us — contact us at thestacksbookshop@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo and we'll make it right with a full refund or replacement credit at no cost to you. Damaged and incorrect orders are not subject to the 50% store credit policy.
Condition Expectations
Every book we sell is pre-owned, and its condition is described on the product page. Normal signs of use consistent with the stated condition (shelf wear, light creasing, previous owner inscriptions) are not defects and are not grounds for a damaged-item claim.
