Shipping Policy


Thank you for shopping with The Stacks Bookshop! Every book in our store is a one-of-a-kind used copy, and we take care to pack each order so it arrives in the same condition it left our shelves.


We currently ship within the United States only.


Order Processing

Orders are processed and shipped within 1–3 business days of purchase. Because our books are pre-owned and most titles are one-of-a-kind, each order is picked and packed by hand. You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order ships.


Shipping Options & Delivery Times


USPS Media Mail — $3.99. Estimated delivery 5–10 business days. Our standard, most economical option.

USPS Priority Mail — $8.99. Estimated delivery 2–5 business days. Choose this at checkout for faster delivery.


Delivery estimates are provided by USPS and begin once your order ships, not from the time the order is placed. Transit times are not guaranteed and may run longer during holidays or high carrier volume.


Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, we’ll email you a tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking to update.


Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

We pack every order carefully, but once a package is in the carrier’s hands, delivery is outside our control. If your order is significantly delayed, lost, or arrives damaged, contact us at thestacksbookshop@gmail.com and we’ll make it right.


Incorrect Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We can’t be responsible for orders shipped to an incorrectly entered address, but email us quickly and we’ll try to correct it before shipping.
